Hanshow, as a global company operating in over 50 countries and regions, is composed of employees from various nations and areas, boasting a diverse work environment. We are well aware that the substantial growth of our company cannot be achieved without the hard work of every employee. Both men and women should enjoy equal rights and opportunities. Building a diverse, equal, and inclusive corporate culture can promote technological innovation and stakeholder engagement, providing real value to our customers and creating endless possibilities for the development of our company.

In a progressive move, 2023 marked our initiation into the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and we continued this journey by joining the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) community in 2024, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing gender equality and the empowerment of women.

The Women's Empowerment Principles, established in 2010 through a collaboration between UN Women and the UNGC, offer a robust blueprint for businesses to champion gender equality in all spheres of influence. The framework outlines seven key principles which span from cultivating leadership and inclusive cultures, to ensuring workplace equality and empowering women through supply chain and marketing practices.

At Hanshow, we hold an unwavering conviction that embracing diversity and providing equitable opportunities are central to each employee's potential, inspiring innovation and driving sustained growth. Our internal ESG governance structure — including a dedicated management committee and working groups — spearheads our ESG initiatives, reflecting our dedication to an equitable workplace.

Our pioneering ESG EPIIC strategy, representing Environmental Beneficial practices, Promoting Prosperity, Innovation & Digitalization, Integrity & Governance, and Climate Neutralization, is deeply integrated into Hanshow's corporate framework. This comprehensive approach ensures that our goals are aligned with shared benefits and value creation for all stakeholders.

As a testament to Hanshow's progress, as of March 2024, women comprise 36.1% of our workforce. Notably, female representation in managerial roles at Hanshow has risen from 33.8% in 2022 to 37.9%, with our supervisory board maintaining approximately one-third of female membership — a clear indication of Hanshow's strides towards balance and inclusion.

Embedded within our strategic approach is the firm belief that gender equality is not just an ideal but a practical objective that requires definitive actions to foster an unbiased, discrimination-free environment. "Hanshow is dedicated to fostering gender equality, empowering women, and cultivating an inclusive workplace where every voice is heard and valued," says Shiguo Hou, the CEO of Hanshow. "We are committed to continually enhancing our efforts to create a more woman-friendly working environment, ensuring that the potential of every individual who works at Hanshow is recognized and valued equally."

Acknowledging the unique challenges faced by women in the workplace, we emphasize skills training and support flexible working conditions to empower women in their professional pursuits. We're not only committed to nurturing talent within our ranks but also to providing unbiased career paths for our female colleagues.

Looking to the future, Hanshow vows to further integrate gender equality and women's empowerment into our core operations through our ESG agenda. In solidarity with global partners, governments, and social entities, we will advocate for the progression of these essential values. Through unified efforts, we aspire to forge a world characterized by equal opportunity, inclusivity, and sustainable prosperity.
