Hanshow Technology has won big at 2020 Good Design Award, with four of its products: Nowa Series Electronic Shelf Label, Lumina Series Electronic Shelf Label, Nebular Series Electronic Shelf Label and Visight Camera. One of the award-winning product – Nebular Series ESL is yet to be unveiled to the market in the fourth Quarter this year, and all the four winners are announced in Equipment and Facilities for Professional Use category.
The Good Design Award, as one of the four greatest design awards in the world, also makes efforts to contribute to the international promotion of design. It has been a sole comprehensive design evaluation and commendation system in Japan since 1957. Many companies and designers from both inside and outside of Japan participate in the activity to enhance the industry or the quality of life through the design. G Mark, the symbol of the award has been recognized widely as a mark representing good design.
Good Design Award is not a competition to judge the superiority or inferiority of the designs. Instead, it is a system to discover new things through the screening, broadly share the discoveries with the society through the use of G Mark. The ideals of Good Design Award and the screening system that has been cultivated over the past 60 years, has gained sympathy, and several design awards haven been set up around the world based on the know-how of the Good Design Award. Therefore, the Good Design Award has become universally recognized by the design industry.

Nowa Series of Electronic Shelf Label
The design of Nowa ESL takes various application scenarios into consideration. It is widely -applied to stores in different countries and businesses. The colourful LED lights and build-in NFC function lay the foundation for in-store inspection, out-of-shelf replenishment, and online orders picking, which significantly improves operational efficiency in the store. The low power consumption makes Nowa ESL energy-saving and environment friendly. To avoid the reflection of lights in retail store, lens-free design allows the label excel at display effect, while the design with protective lens made of PMMA is designed to make ESL collision proof.
Lumina Series Electronic Shelf Label
Lumina Series ESL is designed specifically for fresh food retailing. Fresh goods are usually displayed in a complicated environment where dust and water may damage the price tag. Lumina Series ESL‘s high protection level of IP65 ensures outstanding performance in fresh food retail scenarios. This new product is also equipped with an intelligent system to support smart and flexible advertising on Lumina ESLs at pre-setting time with customized display individually.
Visight Camera
Visight camera features a high definition, high contrast 8M image sensor with an integrated 1T AI processor. The design objective of Visight camera is to address the problem of gondola shelf planogram design and out-of-shelf monitoring in supermarkets. Visight camera has been applied in many stores such as Makro stores in Thailand to enhance the operation efficiency of retailers.
Nebular Series Electornic Shelf Label
Nebular Series ESL is Hanshow’s new cutting-edge electronic shelf labels, which will be unveiled to the market in November, at Chinashop 2020. Aiming to “redefine the imagination of electronic shelf labels”, Nebular Series ESL brings together Hanshow’s understanding of of retail scenarios, and technological innovation.
