Hanshow, a global leader in digital retail innovation, renewed a three-year collaboration with Microsoft to deepen innovation and cooperation in new areas that include GenAI applications for retailers. By collaborating with Microsoft, Hanshow strives to transform customer experiences and store operations for shoppers and retailers worldwide through solutions developed by using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service.

Hanshow’s well-established collaborative approach to innovating new solutions benefits from the complementary strengths of its partners, such as Microsoft. Microsoft will support Hanshow by enabling Hanshow to build, run, and manage new applications on Azure OpenAI Service which offers a suite of advanced generative AI language models made available as a cloud service on Azure.

Azure OpenAI Service provides AI models, fine-tuned to specific needs and use cases, including those in the retail industry. Hanshow and Microsoft will drive digital retail innovation focusing on GenAI based on utilizing Azure OpenAI Service to weave new and existing technology into an immersive experience that spans the entire retail ecosystem. The renewed collaboration has the potential to unleash new digital retail solutions with Azure OpenAI Service that represent a significant upgrade to existing capabilities that are available within Microsoft's partner ecosystem for the retail industry.

Hanshow will continue to deploy Azure’s wide range of other services, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, and others, working closely with Microsoft. Hanshow is developing new digital retail industry solutions, including the Smart Trolley Copilot on Azure OpenAI, which are available to existing global retail customers through Microsoft channels.

The Smart Trolley Copilot will seamlessly integrate technology using Azure OpenAI Service into an innovative shopping cart system with a tablet-based user interface enhancing the shopping experience with advanced functionality and intelligent assistance throughout the customer journey.

Shiguo Hou, CEO of Hanshow Technology, said, "We are excited to deepen our collaboration with Microsoft, harnessing innovative technologies to enhance global digital retail. Working together with major global retailers and Microsoft, Hanshow will enhance shopping experiences far beyond what retailers and customers expect today.”
